The cultural programme Hi(ZKI)bridoak. Literatura Mutanteak (Hi(ZKI)bridoak. Mutant Literatures) was first organised in 2020 and has been held three times since then.
Hi(ZKI)bridoak are mutations between literature and orality, actions that transform letters, sounds, verses and images. The result is a series of mutant literatures, in the broadest sense of the term.
Participants in the initiative include creative figures such as Miren Agur Meabe, Itziar Ugarte, Ana Galarraga, Petti, Maialen Lujanbio, Xabier Erkizia, Ibon Rg, Miren Amuriza, Ane Labaka, Mari Luz Esteban and Itxaro Borda.
The initiative also includes a Hi(ZKI)bridoak grant for the creation of cultural events in Basque. This grant comprises €3,000 that are earmarked for developing an event premièred within the Hi(ZKI)bridoak programme.
