The exhibition entitled Euskararen Lorategia features collages made by students aged between 15 and 18 years who participated in the School Programme run by the Basque Interpretation Centre. It also contains a tree made from the texts included in the collages, a visual illustration that aims to reflect and present students’ thoughts and feelings regarding Basque.
The School Programme enables participants to further explore the contents of the Basque Interpretation Centre, and is adapted to different academic levels; Euskararen Lorategia is designed for students in years 3 and 4 of secondary and the two years of the Spanish Baccalaureate, and aims to raise awareness among them of the diversity inherent to Basque and to encourage them to think about their own relationship with the language. Students develop their creativity using the collage technique.
